Stylish Crumbled Paper Text Effect in Photoshop

Crumble is a dish of British and Irish origin that can be made in dessert dishes. We are not going to make today any sweet dish but we will make here crumble effect for paper. This effect we will make in Photoshop on text you can use this effect on different styles. Enjoy with this small and simple tutorial.

Step 1:

Let's start out by creating a new file. I used a 800×600 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with #262E31 color shade. Now select the Horizontal Type Tool, then set the font family to Arial Black, regular, 80 pt, smooth and #009CD0 color shade. In a new text layer, type your text.

Step 2:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Glow, and Stroke blending options to your text layer.

Create a new layer and merge it with your text layer. Then under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Glow and Pattern Overlay blending options.

Step 4:

Create another new layer and merge it with your text design layer from the last step. Then under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Glow, Satin and Pattern Overlay blending options.

Step 5:

Once again create another new layer and merge it with your text design layer from the last step. Then under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Pattern Overlay blending option. You can finish it off by rotating the text design and sharpen it through Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen More.
