Coffee and Cookies Design Photoshop Tutorial

Today is coffee and cookies time lets enjoy with these but first of all we will have to make them. Yes you got my point today’s post on “How to make coffee and cookies”. We will make this graphics in Photoshop and there is no need of extra expertise in this tool. If you know basic designing techniques and familiar with Photoshop tools then you can make it easily.

Step 1:

Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a 800×600 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with #282828 color shade. Now create a new layer, then draw a light gray circle with #E7E7E9 color shade and 174 x 174 px dimensions.

Step 2:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Satin, and Gradient Overlay blending options to the light gray circle layer.

Step 3:

Select the Rounded Rectangle Tool, on the options bar, set the radius setting to 20 px. In a new layer, draw a small white rounded rectangle with 23 x 12 px dimensions. Then rotate and position the small rounded rectangle as shown below.

Step 4:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow, and Gradient Overlay blending options to the small white rounded rectangle layer.

Step 5:

In a new layer, draw a light gray circle with #F8F8F8 color shade and 116 x 116 px dimensions on top of the small white rounded rectangle as shown below.

Step 6:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, Satin, and Gradient Overlay blending options to the second light gray circle layer.

Step 7:

In a new layer, draw a brown circle with #582B02 color shade and 97 x 97 px dimensions.

Step 8:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow, Inner Glow, and Pattern Overlay blending options to the brown circle layer.

Step 9:

Create a new layer, using the Brush Tool with a soft brush, draw a bunch white particles with different sizes on the canvas as shown below. Then apply a Wave effect through Filter > Distort, apply the settings below twice.

Step 10:

Now apply a Gaussian Blur effect to the particles layer through Filter > Blur. Then place the smoke design on the coffee and erase the parts that you don't need.

Step 11:

Make a new layer set and name it 'Cookie'. Create a new layer, using the Ellipse Tool, draw a cookie shape with #E5AA5C color shade.

Step 12:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Glow, and Pattern Overlay blending options to the cookie shape layer.

Step 13:

In a new layer, draw a bunch of small brown ellipses with #482401 color shade all over the cookie design.

Step 14:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, and Inner Glow blending options to the small brown ellipses layer.
